You Are Loved Banner

August 30, 2016

I’ve had a few people ask me how I made my You Are Loved banner, and it’s actually pretty easy!

Here’s how I made mine:

1.) Cut butcher paper to size. (I had to double-layer my paper since I was covering a window)

2.) Type your message in Power Point (or similar program). I wanted big letters, so I had one letter per page. I used KG Blank Space font, because it’s my favorite!

3.) Change the text fill color to white or “no fill.”

4.) In the text settings, select black as the outline color. I like a thicker outline, so I increased the weight size to about 15.

5.) Print the letters on cardstock, arranging the colors in the order you prefer.

6.) I cut each letter by hand and then taped them onto my butcher paper.

Cutting the paper to fit my window was a bit more tedious than I anticipated, but I LOVE the message and love how the sign turned out!

Hi! I love the bulletin board. I have the Whole Body Listening Classroom Expectation but I can’t find the BLACK AND COLOR VERSION in the downloads. I want my board to look like your board. Hope that’s okay. I love!. Can you let me know if how to download it or do I have to buy it in a separate bundle? Please let me know. Thank you Eileen

I love the classroom expectations. Do you sell those on TPT? I had a look but couldn’t see it.

I would love the bulletin board template. I am teaching 3rd for the first time ever after 15 years as Reading Specialist to make classroom sizes smaller

I purchased your Whole Body Listening package off of TPT. However, I wanted to “reprint” some of the items and I went to pull it back up in my purchases and it said it was no longer available. Where can I purchase it?
